Spiders have been an interest of some of the children recently. It all started with Spiderman and then progressed to spiders webs and costumes being made. On this particular day, the children made their very own sparkly sticky web, after reading 'The Very Busy Spider' and then decided to go on a spider hunt. Armed with their clip boards, they made tally marks each time they found a web and counted the tally marks at the end. Nature, investigation, physical activity and maths all in an afternoon. A typical day in Nusery.
