Breakfast/ Afterschool Club

Changes to Breakfast and After School Club 2020 - 2021:

A link is emailed to parents weekly when they wish to book their child(ren) onto breakfast and/or after school club

As parent's childcare patterns for after school and breakfast club change so regularly, this form will be emailed out on a weekly basis with your requirements.  The form will be available during the school week but will close each Thursday for our office staff to create a register for the following week.

Both breakfast and after school club will be available throughout term time but must be booked in advance using the an email to inform the school office. Though late bookings will be accepted these are strongly discouraged and due to the requirement to limit numbers, places are not guaranteed.

Setup:
Children will all be in the hall which will be socially distanced wherever possible and cleaned thoroughly before and after each csession.  Children will mix in small consistent groups when accessing the clubs, supervised by the following staff. (staff may change due to members having to self isolate or numbers changing in Breakfast and afterschool club.)

School fun is not just between 8.55am and 3.15pm. All children are welcome in our Breakfast and After School clubs where trained members of staff will supervise and entertain the children who attend with an ever growing set of resources.

Hopefully our before and after school provision can return to the following timetable soon when government guidelines decide it is safe to do so........

Breakfast Club:

Opens at 7.30am until the start of the school day - Cost from November, 2020 £5.25 per session.

Children are welcomed into Breakfast club in the morning with a calm, gentle introduction to the day. They are offered a range of cereals and juices etc. which they enjoy from 7.30am until the start of the school day, often surrounded by calming music in a warm and friendly environment. This ensures that children enjoy the most important meal of the day with their friends with the assurance of a healthy, balanced meal. We understand that parents have very busy working lives and Breakfast club ensures that children are not rushed into school with parents worrying about being late for work.

Mrs Hill is the Play Leader of the Breakfast Club and Mrs Rumsey is the Play Leader of our After School club. They both ensure that all of the resources are ready in the morning and packed away neatly a night.

After School Club:

From the end of the school day until 4.30pm - Cost £6.75.

From the end of the school day until 5.30pm - Cost £7.75.

Please note that a sibling discount is available of 50p. for the oldest sibling, per session, per day.

Children are very keen to attend our After school club. We provide different activities for children to practise their team building skills in a fun and inventive way. We have computer software, soft play, cinema time, dressing up clothes, games, colouring and drawing, a quiet place for home activities and much more.

Children are offered a healthy snack to build up energy levels in between the end of school and their tea time at home. These snacks consist of fruit drinks and healthy snacks like crackers, sandwiches, breadsticks, fruit etc.

Children are able to attend extra curricular clubs after school and then go into After School club for parents who are working late.

Points to note....

Please be aware that all bookings and payments must be made one week in advance to ensure a place is available. Late bookings cannot be guaranteed. If a booking is made on the same day an additional £2.00 fee is charged.

It is very important that parents sign their children in and out of both Breakfast and After School club. Our main purpose is to ensure the children's safety and we want to be sure that children leave our clubs secure and happy.

Please inform us immediately of any changes to the adult who will be picking up your child to enable us to add this information to our contact details along with parental information and phone numbers etc.

Please ensure you are always available via mobile phone whilst your child is attending Breakfast or After School club to ensure that we can contact you immediately if needed.
