Victorian peg dolls

Class: Year 1 Year: 2019 - 2020

Year One have been investigating old toys.  Today we looked at some of the toys poorer chidlren in the Victorian era used to play with.  We designed and made our own dolls out of wooden pegs.  We thought about the materials the children would have had available to them and the types of clothes they would have worn.  The children created some amazing designs and put in tonnes of effort to make those designs come to life!
