Totally Terrific Textured Teeth.

Class: Old Foundation Stage Year: 2015 - 2016

As part of our topic on teeth, the children explored the concept of toothpaste painting. They mixed white paint with minty toothpaste and added a touch of glitter. They then used toothbrushes to apply the mixture to their tooth pictures. The children were encouraged to use the same movements to replicate brushing their teeth, for example, up and down and round and round. After they had dried the children were able to feel and decribe the different textures made by the toothpaste. Watch this space for more dental discoveries.
