Lesson: Science

Class: Year 2 Year: 2015 - 2016

Y2 split up into 3 groups and explored the school grounds to look for - living things, things that were once living and things that have never been alive.  The children recorded their findings on whiteboards and then reported their lists to one another once back inside.  The children were encouraged to use scientific vocabulary and their knowledge of characteristics of living things to explain how they knew their object was living, once alive or never been alive.
