Runcorn bridge observations

Class: Year 5 Year: 2016 - 2017

We have had a fantastic time at the Catalyst Museum this afternoon.  We observed the Runcorn, Widnes bridge close up and sketched what we could see.  We picked out the patterns and materials and how they linked together. We even had the opportunity of using microscopes to look at our sketches in close up detail.  We are going to use these ideas along with the observations from the construction of the new bridge being built alongside to aid our construction tomorrow.
