Pumpkin Picking at Kenyon Hall Farm

Class: Reception Year: 2016 - 2017

A great trip out to Kenyon Hall Farm for Reception. The children behaved so well and were interested to learn more about farming. They had so much fun in the fields, fruit picking and tasting some along the way. The children were delighted to meet the pigs,  Little Miss Snortington and Lady Oinkalot. One little girl was chosen to feed them as a birthday treat. We then had a yummy picnic in the the tunnel before heading out to pick pumpkins and corn. After a long walk to the pumpkin field, it was time for a rest and a lovely pumpkin story in the tunnel. Thanks to Katherine and all the staff at the farm for a fantastic and enjoyable day out. We hope we have made some fantastic, treasured memories through our hands on learning trip out.
