Keeping teeth healthy!

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

Class: Year 3 Year: 2014 - 2015

As part of their unit on teeth and digestion in Science, the children had a visit from a dental nurse.  They listened very carefully to a presentation and took part in a discussion about keeping teeth healthy.  They also   learnt information about teeth, their uses and functions and learnt and practised scientific vocabulary.  They used and explored a variety of resources (including models of teeth, puzzles, and pictures) and completed a worksheet naming the different parts of a tooth.
