Lesson: Physical education

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

This term, year 3 have enjoyed a series of wet and muddy sessions at Forest School! We began our first session by recapping our fire circle rules before heading into a range of exciting activities, from games of hide-and-seek to tree climbing, tug of war and making our own tree swings. Throughout, the children also loved getting creative with mud face masks and working together on den building. We have explored leaf printing and talked about how to use tools safely, as well as how to recognise natural dangers in the woodland. We finished our last session with a fire, s'mores and hot chocolate!
