Fascinating Fairies

Class: Old Foundation Stage Year: 2015 - 2016

Look what we found in the hobbit hole! The children had lots of ideas and discussed at great length. What is the object? Where has it come from? Who does it belong to?

Some children though it was table, some a bench, others a skateboard! Have the fairies been having a party? Can we put it back into the fairy door, on the tree? The children knocked on the door, called to the fairies, looked for an open gap and tried to balance it on the ledge outside the door.

They placed it back on the ground but it began to sink in the wet mud! Ethan dug a path way to enable the fairies to safely collect their belongings. The children were concerned that it could become lost if it began raining again. Some had seen the floods over the Christmas holidays!

Finally, we all agreed to take it inside and keep it in a safe place until the weather dried out. We will keep you informed about any further developments.
