Class: Year 3 Year: 2019 - 2020

A fascinating afternoon in Year 3 finding out about Egypt from Mr John Johnson who regularly visits Egypt, teaches hieroglyphics and funds dig sites in Luxor.  He brought with him many artefacts from various tombs, some of which were 5000 years old.  He also very generously brought a book mark for each child and a copy of his book.  When he next visits Egypt he will be taking with him some letters from Year 3 to the children of Kings Valley Primary School in Luxor where, with the help of Tesco, provides the chidlren with stationary items.

We also have a 5000 year old artefact to keep in class and some real papyrus scrolls as well as a copy of Mr Johnsons book. Amazing afternoon!
