Lesson: Art and design

Class: Year 3 Year: 2024 - 2025

This half term, Year 3 were joined by a local ceramist, Andrew Hill as part of our Art topic about Ceramics. 

Throughout the day, we developed our practical skills related to clay work such as slabbing, joining and drawing into clay.   

We each made a canopic jar which supported our History work about Ancient Egypt and then we spent the afternoon creating a Hepworth inspired head sculpture.
