🌈 Welcome Back to School! 🌈
What a joyful start to the new school year it’s been! The classrooms are alive with curiosity, the playgrounds are buzzing with laughter. As is our tradition, some cheerful characters, to accompany the smiley staff, were there on the first morning to welcome everyone back with big smiles and warm hellos.
👋 A Special Welcome to New Families
We’re delighted to have welcomed new families into our school community this term, including those joining Nursery Acrons, Nursery Oaks, Reception, and other areas across the school. It’s been wonderful to see new faces settling in so quickly and becoming part of our vibrant school life.

📚 Proud of Our Achievements
Last year was a fantastic one for our pupils. We’re incredibly proud of the outcomes achieved across the school—from the impressive results at the end of Key Stage 2, to the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check, and our phonics screening, where 100% of children passed! These milestones reflect the hard work, dedication, and ambition that define our school.
✏️ Literacy Gets a Boost
This term, we’ve launched a brand-new spelling scheme to sit alongside the writing programme introduced last January. Our staff are fully trained and already rolling it out, helping children build confidence and creativity in their writing.
🍽️ Breakfast & After-School Provision
Don’t forget - we’re pleased to offer FREE breakfast club places to support our families, alongside our paid provision which begins at 7:30am. After-school care is also available until 5:30pm, providing a safe, engaging environment for children to relax, play, and continue learning beyond the school day.

📖 Library Tuesdays
Our KS2 library is now open every Tuesday evening for 20 minutes after the school day. It’s a lovely chance for children to browse and choose a book to enjoy alongside their school readers—because a love of reading is something we treasure deeply. Add to that we are delighted that we can offer Reading Plus to all of our Y6 and a selection of children from across the school. If your child has a Reading Plus license then they can use this at home too. Please encourage all reading. It really does open doors!
