Thinking Bigger

It's super to see our project making the local news.

Children in Y5 are really passionate about the project that they are involved in - reducing landfill and providing tasty edible meals for the community at the same time.

The 'pop up shop' which they have researched, promoted and that they assist with on a weekly basis is popular with our community. Food destined for landfill because their best before date has passed or the food isn't the correct shape or size is collected from manufactures by 'The Real Junk Food Project'. The school has teamed up with this charity to promote reducing food waste and have a positive impact on the environment.
