Shakespeare Week

It's been a delight to see how the children have embraced The Bard in our Shakespeare Week. Too often it is assumed that children of primary age will not appreciate or understand Shakespeare - but how we prove them wrong! 

From Reception enjoying 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' all the way to Y6 studying 'The Tempest' - there has been a wonderful appreciation of this English poet, playwrite and actor.

A performance of Hamlet for our junior children from The Young Shakespeare Company was truly engaging as the children had the opportunity to immerse themselves and involve themselves in the play. A truly inspiring event to celebrate our Shakespeare Week.
