Today, Year 1 were visited by Wigan Athletic Community Trust to finish our history topic. They spoke to us about how the women's game has developed since the time of Lily Parr. Year 1 impressed our visitors with their knowledge of Lily Parr and what she did for the women's game. The afternoon was finished by us practising our own skills with the footballs.
