Lesson: History

Year 3 have been researching the different houses that people lived in during the three different stages of the Stone Age. We found out that people originally lived in caves during the Paleolithic era, they moved onto teepee type structures in the Mesolithic era and then more sturdy stone based structures during the Neolithic era. We were amazed to find out about teh different materials that they used to create their houses. When we had completed our fact finding we went outside and had a go at building our own Stone Age inspired houses.
