Lest we forget

I was extrememly proud to accompany our Y6 children to the Remembrance Service in Billinge.

All schools in Billinge and Seneley Green are represented and it is truly poignant to walk together from the Millenium Garden to the Remembrance Garden before the bugle sounds and silence falls.

The children remembered all who have been affected by war and listened to the service with respect.

As the service ended and the silence was over - the children from all of the 5 schools laid their flags in the garden; flags on which they had written their thoughts and prayers.
