Busy times!

It has been so busy of late with countless activities as we come to the end of the school year.

I will upload some images from our fantastic Sport's Day as soon as I can.

I was delighted to welcome families into school today for our celebration assembly. Together we celebrated children with 100% attendance and well done to Matthew and Phillippa for winning the raffles - 'Darkstar' and 'Smyths' voucher were the prizes this half term - sadly we couldn't get Ed Sheeran to appear as some of our children had suggested as the reward!

We also celebrated the citizens of the year and it was, once again, a very emotional time as teachers talked so passionately about their classes before celebrating some very worthy winners. Congratulations to Lucas, Amelia, Alice, Thomas, Erin, Keeley and Grace.

In addition, it was our pleasure to celebrate those unsung heroes who come into our school voluntarily to help keep everything running so smoothly at school. We have so much support from our fabulous community and it was a great opportunity to recognise that.

Finally, who is packing your parachute? -  a story to remember when we think of the difference people make to our lives. A tribute not only to our children, our families, our community but also to our amazing staff. Garswood is a special place and much of that is down to the superb team who care so much about providing the very best for the children of Garswood.

Here's to enjoying the last 2 days of this academic year and looking forward to the next year too.
