Class: Year 4 Year: 2017 - 2018

What a fantastic night for our class at Harry Potter night, as we are currently studying Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. We were inspired by the magic of the evening to firstly, reserch the qualitlies represented by the four Hogwart Houses and to choose which one best represents us. 

We worked in teams to design posters to encapture each house and then we left it to The Sorting Hate to determine our house!

Then it was time to write a speech as we aspired to be the leader of our house. We ensured that we modelled our fantastic use of persuasive language, specific vocabulary and present perfect tense to ensure our writing was at the quality expected for Y4.

We certainly didn't disappoint!
