Foundation Stage find the ice!

Class: Old Foundation Stage Year: 2014 - 2015

It was a cold and icy January morning, when the children in Foundation Stage decided to wrap up warm and go and investigate outside. What they found was marvellous! Their playground was covered in ice. The mud kitchen sink had frozen solid, there were icicles hanging from the plug and the bug hotel looked like it had been dusted in icing sugar.

The children worked together to find the ice and work out how to crack it to see what was inside. They did some problem solving working out why the ice was melting and what we could do to keep it cold.
